Overview

Hospice of Frederick County is a community based nonprofit dedicated to helping others live fully. Our mission is to promote quality of life by providing compassionate medical and emotional spiritual and bereavement support to individuals and their loved ones facing a life-limiting illness.

I’d love to welcome you to attend our Hospice 101 session on Thursday, March 14th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.  The Hospice 101 is the required first-step to volunteering for us, but it is also an important informational and educational session where we discuss who we are, what we do, how Volunteers can help, etc.  We also begin the application process at that session.  Please let Dianne Elizabeth ([email protected]) know if you can attend.  Looking forward to meeting you!

Note: Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and requires about 20-25 hours start-up (18 of which is training).
